For the most part, this is the basic solitaire dressed up. The side diamonds give a flourish that some people find intriguing. In most cases, the added diamonds on the band send the viewer towards the center diamond.

Think of this design as the solitaire on vitamins. It has some healthy extras to enhance the design. The side diamonds can be anything from a row of small diamonds, to tapering diamonds, diamonds of different shapes or even colored gemstone and diamond combinations.
